Well, I just got done taking out my old Koralia pumps and replacing with two 1050 Evolution pumps and a Natural Wave mini cycle pump timer in my 55 gal. I really like the flow and surface agitation along with the real natural movement mimicking the ocean currents. The new set up seems to be getting all the tank with no dead spots. So far, I am impressed. I can tell some of the coral, mushrooms, Colt etc. are going to have to adjust but over all I love the new environment.

Hello Steve. I use the return (2 nozzles) to get more surface agitation and one is pointed down to get in back of the rock. In this pic I have the 1050s on opposite sides of the tank with the left side running for 2:00 mins, when it goes off it is off for 2:00 mins then the right side comes on (left side still off) for about 4 mins. As soon as the right side goes off the left comes on.
The Wave Maker is limited but for $40.00 I wanted to try one. It is this one; Aquarium Systems Natural Wave Multi-Cycle Pump Timer at PETCO
