    Awww congratulations!!! So cute!!

If you need any tips, feel free to PM. I have a lot of experience. Also, I do agree it isn't "best" to train him to a potty box, as it just teaches them it is ok to go inside and then they won't want to go potty outside, but it's totally up to you!

Some people just train their dogs to litter boxes because they find it is much easier than having to take them outside to go potty. Especially if the dog's adult size is small. I wouldn't want a 80 pound dog pooping in a litter box :-X

    Congrats again!!

^80 lb dog in a litter box? haha! Yeah I don't think training him to a box is ideal either. The dog is so young,(we also have about 12" of snow outside!) that iit would be hard to train him to go outside. Like I said, I would like to get him trained to go outside, lik dogs are supposed to. :p

Thanks. My sister s a member of a Dog forum(I forget what it is called), but she has a dog of her own(lives in an apt). It's an Aussie, rat terrier, beagle mix. She knows a lot about dogs and teaching them well. :) We are going to get a brand of dog food called "Call of the Wild" that doesn't have as much veggies in it, or corn syrup, like most dog food brands have! It's weird, but it's true.

It's been a few months since my old dog, Buekeye died(Some of you may have seen my thread). It's nice having another.

Call of the Wild is good food! Pretty rich, so just watch out for digestion problems. But it is really good quality!

Again, congrats!! We need more pictures!! :)

We aren't really supposed to have one; we are renting... "No pets allowed." lol. We figured he is so small the landlord might not notice...haha

He is soo cute. I lost my dog in Oct. it is soooo hard. My husband got me a puppy for Christmas. She is so cute, but I was not looking forward to potty training in the winter. Right now, we have about two feet of snow on the ground. She is a shephard and picked up potty training really quick (luckily before all this snow hit)!!

    Good luck with him!
