I've been contemplating on adding another one of these to my 75 gallon setup and upgrading my older one with the new driver to run anti sync reef crest mode. Well I pulled the trigger through my go too company ReefGeek and I must say it was worth the purchase. I'm running both pumps at max on Reef Crest and my sps seem to freaking love it!!! Hoping to see some different growth patterns of my coral over the next couple of months. ;D

You've got to be freaking kidding... TWO MP40s on your 75? Do you have them dialed down a little? How's the LPS handling it?

Sounds like he's running them on anti-sync which means their total output can only ever equal the full power of one mp40. This should give much better chaotic changing conditions.

Yeah I thought I was crazy adding to MP40s to my tank but the flow is epic man.
Definitely does, makes a much more erratic flow in the tank. Coral seem to love it!!

Wow really? I love my original one that I purchased. Saw much improved growth in my coral after it was in the tank for a couple of months.

Do you have any pictures of how you have your MP40's set up. Do you have SPS, LPS or both.

That's very strange to hear... What are your settings and do you have pictures. I'm sure we can help you get some great benefits out of them!

I couldnt be happier with mine. I am thinking of adding a MP10 for the other side of my 75 gallon. I am thinking this will help with creating what you were trying to achieve. Not sure If I need another MP40.
