    Today I bought 15 pounds of live rock from my local fish store. This rock is awesome! Several pieces are completely bright purple with coraline algae. I also inherited several neat hitch hikers! I now have several sponges, one huge feather duster worm and several small feather duster worms. Who knows what else might come out during the night!?! :eek:

    There are two things which I think are sponges but would like your expertise. One is a fuzzy looking blob...kind of like cotton but thinner. Also, another one that is slimy looking and is blue. I can't get pictures because I already put the rock in the tank and the "sponges" are inaccessible.

    Any info would be great. Thanks!! I can't wait to see what else appears out of these rocks!

    Update: I was able to get a shot of the blue one, but not the fuzzy ones.
