New Qiuet One Pump!

    I just purchased a new Quiet One 3000 pump for my refuge to replace my Rio Hyper Flow 12 because my wife was complaining about the low humm from the Rio. The Quiet One is almost silent but does not seem as powerful as the Rio despite nearly identical flow rates. The only way I can tell that the pump is running is by the noise of my overflow box. Does any one have any experiences with this pump concerning reliability? I know they are supposed to produce some heat but thats not a problem where I live. ;D
