Here is the new home depot rack I put in to hold my lights. I currently have it to a height of 8" off the water, but can raise or lower if need be. Hope this will increase airflow underneath and lower the temp fluctuations.

I also installed ligh timers under my cabinet for the lights, here is my current schedule: 4x224w actinics on at 9am, 2x250w MH on at 11am off at 9pm, actinics off at 11pm, 6xdual moonlights on at 11pm off at 9am. That gives me 14 hours of daylight with a 2 hr sunrise sunset and 10 hours of moonlit bliss for my fishes.

Also added 1 gigantic turbo, 2 margaritas and 15 astraeas to the clean up crew. And dropped in some more empties of various sizes for my blue legs to peruse.

It's also noteworthy that since I have installed my new lights my ph has gone from 8.1 to 8.4-8.5.
