    I converted a 20 gallon long to a sump/refugium.
    How deep should I go with the sand and what else in there? Live Rock? A few chunks? how big?
    I am looking to get some chaeto as well.

    My 20 gallon sump has a 3-3 1/2 inch sand bed. I have a few small pieces of rubble rock in it
