Ok all, I promised some people I would put pics of the RO/DI unit that Otty won and so graciously gave to me up after install, so here goes. I figured the best place to put it would be the 1/2 bath/laundry room. It is out of the way and I had very easy access to water and a drain, by far the best choice for my house! So here are some pics with brief explanations, I'm trying to embed pics for the first time so bear with me if it doesn't work at first!

Here is a pic of the Pinacle+ unit mounted on the wall

Pic of the water & drain hookup, this is why the laundry room worked best for me. I simply shoved the wastewater drain line down into the drain for the washer. Then I went to Lowe's and bought a brass water supply Y in the lawn & garden section. A whopping $8, and it would have been cheaper if I wouldn't have got the brass one. I like that it has shut offs for both outlets, letting me work on one while the other is running.
Pretty simple, but some people were wanting to see pics and see how it was installed.
THANKS AGAIN TO OTTY, MATT, AND EVERYONE ON 3REEF!!

Why?? Sometimes I use the detergent for top-off, leaves my water squeaky clean;D;)!!

Thanks Horton, I'm pumped to finally have to stop bugging Otty and Kogle for water!! (I know they are too!!)

Ahhh.. now I can see it. Great job! That is exactly how I have my RO hooked up.
How's it working? What PSI are you running it at?

Thanks again Matt, I owe you and Otty big time! Karma for a great contest, without the contest I would still be the "water bum!"

As for the pressure, unfortunately the pressure guage must have been damaged in shipping, it was bent where it screws into the unit. No biggie, I'll run to Lowe's hopefully tomorrow and get a new one. I did have the fortune of overflowing the washer and dumping a couple gallons on the floor though! I thought I would let it run overnight draining into the washer to help it break in, I checked it several times and thought it would be fine, I was wrong! That was a fun cleanup job!;D
