    Hey all. So I just got my new RODI delivered today. Having a small problem however. The attachment for the water coming into the unit doesn't fit on the threads for my sink. It's too big. I live in apt complex so I don't have a hose available, it seems the RODI would fit nicely onto a gardening hose outlet.

    I was just at the Home Depot and they said they don't have anything that would help. Nothing that would fit both male and female parts, so to speak, with a single product/item.

    Anyone have any advice/ideas on this?

    I've heard of people doing that and it working well. I just don't have a washer setup. All I really have is my sink lol. Going to have to figure something out.

    Home Depo or Lowes should have an adapter for this I would think, they must be two standard sizes. Somtimes it depends on who you get.. Rember going to the hardware store looking for what we call "eggcrate" to put under my rock, well after 30 min and 3 departments I found it in the lighting section and called light diffuser.

    I got a part from Lowes that is exactly what I assume you are looking for. If you are still have problems I can send a pic when I am home from work.

    Just got back from Lowes and the RODI is up and running. Thanks everyone, this site is awesome.

    If anyone down the road is looking at this thread I spent $3.97 on the following;

    Hose Thread Adapter 2/9C
    15/16" -27 Dual Thread x 3/4" Male Hose Thread x Standard Dishwasher Thread

    Everyones sink might be a little different, To be honest the end that screws into the faucet looked way too big using just the eyes. But when I got home it fit perfectly. Looks are deceiving!

    Darn it. I ended up cutting my pex pipe under the sink and inserting a compression fitting T that allows to connect RODI unit tubing. Added a valve too.

    Overall happy with my setup, but your solution is quite a bit easier :)
