    Hi,

I've had my tank for about 10 days now and here's the stats so far.
I guess the rocks were cured when I got them ... as there was no spectacular peaks of anything ... but I'm not sure what to make of the measurements below ?!

Any idea? Do the measurements look normal ?

Anyway to test if the live rocks are working ?

    Thanks!
    Alex

Any fish in there? Where did you get the rock from? Are you using RO or RO/DI water to top off?

We didn't test for the above.

No fish or creatures (live rocks only). Got them for a fish store ... they were probably cured when we got them. The water to fill the tank the first time and for the top offs was RO water.

    Thanks!

If you're going to want a reef tank with corals and other inverts, I would bump up your salinity to 1.024~1.026. Then test Calcium and Magnesium too. If you're going fish only, everything is good to go.

You'll probably need to add Calcium and Magnesium. You'll definitely want to bump up your alkalinity.
