    so shopping list,
purified water/RO filter for my tap
    protein skimmer
    light
    salt solution
    hydrometer
    base rock

and then after all thats in I will need the live rock, then in a couple weeks depending on how well it cycles, add coral and maybe the shrimp. and then assuming all is well add the goby, everything continues to flow smoothly, add the clingfish and the serpent star. then after its maybe 6 months old, add the anemone and clown pair.

    good?

I would buy a refractometer instead those winky dinky inaccurate futile hydrometer. You add fish first, then inverts, then coral. Corals need good water quality, couple months after the tank stabilize. You can add a anemone after a year. If the anemone dies, it kills everything in your tank, forcing you to start from square one again. Anemone need Metal halides, not those T5HO lights. Better research what your buying.

You can either buy a ro/di unit or buy distilled water from the store. Corals/Anemones need 0TDS water. Also, had powerheads to your list. You need 45x turnover rate. Add the GPH and divide by your tank gal so 30g

ok. so fish, then the shrimp, then the coral.

And I think for my first fill up and my top of water I will just buy the water. and then look into a filter.

Bloodkip, I dont think you have enough fun with this hobby.
