Sweet, I love scooters so much less picky than mandarins too so I'm sure they'll do great for ya KC! Do they get along with mandarins if you had one of each in a tank, just wondering outloud?

They actually are scooter dragonets, not blennies. So they are related to the mandarin, just supposed to be hardier/easier and all that. And since they are dragonets, like mandarins, they probably wouldn't get along very well in the same tank.

They seem to be settling in well! They are so cute. I love watching them.

Congrats on the new pretty fishies.
Glad to hear they are eating for you.
Hope the male settles down and behaves.

Oops yeah that's what I meant dragonets, they have them at my LFS and I love how they are similar to the mandarins but def easier to keep. I may get one someday soon, I always look at them when I go in, so cool!

I had a male and female red scooter several years ago. Although they were bought separately, they paired up pretty quickly. Scooters are one of my most favorite fish. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoyed mine!

Thanks! They are eating - alot. I tried mysis for the first time last night and they didn't even hesitate at it. They actually will chase their food a bit too, which is nice.

You should get one! Diver's Den (where I got mine) puts them up quite a bit, and they are usually eating frozen shrimp.

Thanks!! I'm sure I will. I just sit and watch them - they fascinate me! haha
