    hi felix frank here,after a 6 year break i,m getting back into marine aquariums, but so much has changed since the days of undergravels, can any one out there give me some ideas on running my newly orderd 8x2x2ft which comes next week ie correct size protein skimmer,lighting etc.i also have comming with the aquarium a 4x1.5x1.5ft sump.regards

    felix frank. Will you have a dedicated fish room or will everything need to be under the stand? Check out the hurricone skimmers, reefspecialty.com has them. Lighting, my VOTE would be t5ho. That is without experience with them, all my experience has been with MH and PC. I really think the t5's are the way to go these days though.
