    Hi,

Soon my tank will be ready for fishes. So I'm thinking about it:

    2x Amphiprion ocellaris
    1x Royal Gramma
    1x Heniochus Black & White
    1x Yellow Tang
    2x Fire Shrimp

What can you suggest for me?

    Light: T5 4x24w (2x 10000k, 2 actinic), 2x Tunze 6045, Skimmer for 125g,
    Live rocks will be ~40lbs.

    Thanks

    my suggestion would be

forget the yellow Tang for that sized tank
but the rest should be ok

the butterfly can reach a size of 10 inches, but they are not as active as Tangs in general and thats why that fish is suggested as OK even when Tangs that reach the same size are suggested for bigger tanks

I have not suggested an alternative fish for the Tang
as IMO with the butterfly, 2 clowns and royal gramma - you will end up overstocked allowing for adult size in a 56 gallon tank

    Thanks for you opinion.
So I know about fish, but what about reef cleaners?
2 shrimp is not enough, so what will be best?

a mix of snails is good IMO for the micro algaes that develop
check out reef cleaners as on the site they list multiple CUC creates and indicate which species are most suitable for which type of algae species, situation etc

one thing I am keen on is getting smaller snail species as they have an easier time dealing with the more intricate rock work we like in our tanks and can thus get to algae that larger snails cannot get at

small hermit crab species are also good for dealing with macro algaes and uneaten foods etc
