Hey All, just wanted to post the latest pic of my new 46 Gal Bowfront.

Currently it's going through the cycle but here are Yesterday's params:

    Temp: 79 F
    PH: 8.2
    Nitrate: 10 ppm
    Nitrite: 0.5 ppm
    Ammonia 0 ppm
    Spec Gravity: 1.023

    New additions:
    Coralife Super Skimmer 125
    50/50 bulb

Soon will have a sump - so no more skimmer in the tank YAY!!

I'll be on vacation for a week so hopefully it will balance itself out while i'm gone - then i'll be able to add my CUC. Any recommendations?

    Enjoy!

I like your rockwork.. Looks like you already have some good coralline, which should start spreading soon..

Reef Sun 50/50 bulbs. I was debating on 10,000k or 50/50 and I decided on 50/50 for now, eventually i'll get a fixture when i decide to take the coral plunge.

Thanks! It's already spreading pretty quick, the rock all of a sudden spread in like 3 days.

I also have some green on the base - hopefully i have that color in there too...

    Thanks for the comments!

Don't know when you plan on taking the coral plunge, but I have opted to go with a large hermit and a black long-spine urchin until I am ready to take that route. Which won't be for awhile because I have lots of studying and a separate freshwater tank to work on.

So back to the point, my large hermit is AWESOME. So funny and cool. Make sure you have your rocks either very secure or glued for these guys.
