    I question the value of this tank too, but it's built as well as it could be under these conditions. 1.5" acrylic is going to attenuate A LOT of noise (it's way overbuilt) and foul balls will never hit the tank itself because of the lexan plate with an air-gap in between. I really don't know how much louder it is within the tank compared to aquarist systems running internal prop pumps, for example. The primary concern would be the people in the first row IMO.
