Not that anyone here really cares ::) But...I'm finally upgrading my skimmer!

Sick of the HOB(1 1/2 yrs.) that's not enough for my bio-load.Going from an Eshopps PSK-100H to a Super Reef Octopus XP2000E.Once this baby is broken-in I'm going to re-introduce pellets into the system. I'm SUPER excited :2thumbsup.

Thanks. How do you like the Automatic Neck cleaner?...I was planning on getting it after the skimmer has been running for at least a month.

It works great, I'm planning on getting a waste collector so it will really be hands free.

    What??????

    Of course we care.....

Congrats, getting new frags, equipment is the best motivation in this hobby, that is the addicting part.

    How are the acropora doing?

I was only kidding ;) LOL!

Acro's are doing great including the green tort. Red planet grows like a weed!

For some reason I have no success with birdsnest or mille frags- they begin to STN about a month after being in my tank. I'm still working out the kinks though. My Apex has been down for quite a while (just shipped it for servicing today)and I've been manually Dosing 2 part for the last few months. My manual ATO'ing isn't the best for salinity variances either but everything in the tank currently is accustomed to my husbandry.

The skimmer upgrade is a part of my battle for eradicating my current cyano invasion naturally. If it's not one thing it's something else, but I enjoy the challenges!
