    yea once i did that i got it working :D but i have it unplugged right now because the foam is insaine and the collection cup is so much smaller than im used to
    it really is, thats why the fish freaked out, it looks like its going to work ok, just a question for octo, why RED????

    Hopefully most of the red in the tank will be purple before long

    i hope this thing gets covered in coralline

    here are some pics

    you can see how far back it leans, i have the screws in but they dont seem to do anything

    it did get lost :p

    yea it deffiently is alot smaller then the other. I think once i get the foam adjusted right it will work good

    hrmm it wont adjust at all with the screws to push the bottom back a bit? looks like you have them screwed all the way in. unscrew them a bit inside the tank to make it balanced...

    that things an awesome HOB skimmer. glad you were able to get your hands on one. now time to get it broke-in and adjusted properly.

    and i totally agree... they couldnt have used a more neutral color?

    edit: im jealous of your vortech goodness :)

    i was adjusting the inlet and the screw got lost somewhere in the tank, and i was finally able to get the foam to chill out, i hope i can find it

    yea i cant wait to see it working

    hehe the vortech is pretty awesome
