New skimmer is here, Octo lx1000s

hahaha you should invest in one, totally worth the money

so now that i found the screw i cant get it to go back to where it was and the collection cup isint foaming any more, so i think ill just leave it unpluged until my dad gets home so i can get it working right

 

once the government stops screwing me over ill get to ordering one.... along with my lighting, skimmer, controller heh

 

got the skimmer back up and running, got the collection cup adjusted, not foaming as much and not filling up so fast. Also have a bunch of microbubbles in the tank. I had the screws in wrong so now the skimmer is sitting up straight

 

Congrats, it might take it a week to settle down but then it should get going well. Here's hoping for some serious coralline algae growth.

 

thanks, the microbubbles are already going down, and the skimmer is very quiet, just a little humm, so much better than the bh800

yup it's already collecting skimmate. It's wet but at least its something

 

I run my skimmer wet as well. Seems to work best that way.
