new skimmer yayy

    new skimmer arived today its the eshopps s-200 snowcone it is replaceing a octopus bh-300 that was taking up too much room in the tank with the the 2 big pumps that were on it. the skimmer has a nice build quality looks and feels nice and solid it came with a aquabee pinwheel pump i think model 2000/1 and a adjustable air silencer i was so excited that i put it in the sump before taking any pics but here is a few anyways i will update as it breaks in. sry the pics are not the best they were taken on a cell phone

    nice i did a lot of research on the eshopps skimmers and it seems to me there really is not anyone that does not like them that has one what model do you have

    Quick update the skimmer has now broken in for the most part and here are some pics of it in action i had cleaned the cup on sunday night so thats 3 days of skimm

    Not looking at this brand anymore. There was a thread where the eshoppes rep had a bit of an attitude towards other forum members. And then I talked to a couple of guys who have been into this hobby a long time that said the acrylic they use isn't that great. Looks like yours works very well though.
