In a few months I'm upgrading my 29 to a 50 and thought about replacing my Eshopps 75 in sump skimmer. Are these good?

Part of the reason is the pump on the Eshopps. After unplugging the unit for feeding or WC's I have to actually screw with the pump a bit for it to come back. Any problems with the pumps on these units?

You could always just replace the pump if that is the only issue with what you have now. That would certainly save you a lot of money. I have a PSK-100 for my 55 and just bought a PSK-100H for my 28 nano (was actually cheaper than a 75!). I think they are very good value skimmers.

Reef Octopus skimmers have a great reputation in the hobby. Good performance and good prices.
