It's better than the SeaClone, I can tell you that. There is a lot of horror stories for the SeaClone, it's not even funny anymore. It's a good skimmer for a FO tank.

I just got my new one last night and put it in. It has been running almost 24 hours with a super easy setup in my refugium.
The collection cup is 1/4" full of nice brown skimmate....I paid $109 for it at fostersandsmith $120 delivered to the front door. So, far I like it :)

It is best valued low to medium priced skimmer out there. It does the basics right and is a sound design. I had the CSS125 and I am thinking of getting a CSS65 for a QT set up.

I'm using the 220 gal one, no complaints. I have mine in a sump so bubbles are no issue. It has overflowed on me a couple times in the beginning while I was trying to find the proper adjustment on the valve.

I have a coralife 220 and I am very happy with it.

Dollar-for-dollar (in my opinion) it's the best skimmer on the market. They are very well made and priced just right. Yes, you can buy a better skimmer but you'll end up paying alot more.....which makes the coralife a smart choice.

    Go for it ;)

For those with sumps the Reef Octopus skimmer are also a great value but they don't offer a real HOB.
