Ok so you guys have convinced me do up grade and do it right this time. Building a new stand. Has anyone used the blue treated two by's. They are treated for mold and termites. The termites I don't have buy the stand will have a sump and mold could grow. Thanks in advance.

It appears to be a lot safer, as the chemicals used are readily available to the public, unlike ACQ, CA, and the now-fully-banned CCA used in pressure-treated lumber. OTOH, the wood is only termite and mold resistant, but it's also safe for indoor use.

Called the big orange box and they don't have blue wood. The size of the tank is either 180-220. Leaning big time towards 220.

i used to work their, get them to pricematch at the least, or if not, tell them to "meet and beat" by 5% which is a standard in their register computers for all customers who ask for it and infact their suppose to offer this but we were always told not to.

otherwise shop at lowes. home depot treats their employees like ****, minimum wages, and zero commission, unlike lowes who actually pays well and gives their sales departments commission.
