    Fromia? I find that highly unlikely. I've seen too many starve right here on 3Reef that never bothered trying to harm anything else. Unfortunately, you'll hear a lot of things in this hobby that simply are not true.

    One of the biggest problems I see with keeping stars alive and healthy long-term is that most have specialized diets from which they will rarely waver, and (at least it seems) most people have the idea that all stars can survive on algae and detritus, when in fact, very few species will even feed on it. :-/

    Been a few weeks and he is doing well so I guess Im in the clear from acclimate stress. Hopefully now he gets what he needs to eat to survive, being so small in a 46gal I should be ok for awhile but hopefully some Nori and leftover RODs will help sustain his health.
