Looks good, the only thing I could see is that the water level is a little high. Have you tried shutting off the power and see where the water level goes up to? Luna

I agree about the water level and have the same question.

Yup! like Luna said,, If there was to be a power failure you will have a flood, other than that it looks really good!

yeah like i said before im take a little of the water out i plumbed a swing check and a vacuum breaker off a tee and stubbed it above the water level behind the tank. so if the power goes out the water level in the sump only rises 3 1/4". and yea its home made i just made it to the size of a tank i measured at the lfs

If you made that yourself I would say you have a nice buisness opportunity there if you wanted to make some money selling sumps. Very nice I do not like the light fixture hanging by a string though that could end up in the water really easily probably as you knock it in with your arm by accident when reaching in the sump.:idea2::stars:

oh that was a old string that i had hung a pipe and wires with lol. tho the light is just sitting on the tank for now. still thinking on what kind of light i want under there, any ideas?
as far the tank. . it didnt come out a square as i wanted, and it's alot more work than i'd want to do twice. it cost as much as it would to have just bought one.
