New T-5 lamps Opinions on best combo for what I got

    Personally I have never used an actenic. Here is what the combo I posted looks like. Pictures sometimes speak volumes :)

    I've been messing around with a bunch of combos. Thanks all for your help. Im currently operating with (front to back) B+, P+, B+, Actinic. I do kind of like this. And yes the purple does wonders for a lot of my colors.

    WIth this being said, I don't feel like I have a true white spectrum in this combo. Do you guys think this combo is putting out enough par-wise for good growth etc. To be honest I thought I would get a deeper, darker blue color with this combo. I am on a tall tank though, 24 inches from lights to sandbed..

    You will be getting plenty of PAR. The BP have some of the highest PAR output of all T5HO bulbs.

    e purple is a daylight and the b+ are a mix....they all have great par, except the actinic
