New tank adding coral ?

    well i was looking at the post from reef empire and i'm bidding on a couple things my tanks a month old with one clown and 3 hermit crabs, stats are 100% safe to add some things? i have a t-5 216w

    here's what i'm bidding on

    Splatterhouse Chalice
    Red/Yellow Goniopora
    Godzilla Eyes Chalice
    Zoanthids Zoas Zoos




    when adding these's what is the process?

    Float for temp acclimation, then thrown them in.

    I would however do a dip to remove pests. Just in case.

    when i first put corals in i acclimated them like i would fish.
    you dont need to do all that. like jonwells said just make sure the temps the same.
    most corals are hardier than you think.

    When you say the "stats" are 100%, what stats? Do you mean Ammonia, Nitrate, Phosphate and Nitrite? Or, Calcium, Magnesium, PH and Alkalinity and SG? OR, all of these?

    ammonia, nitrates, nitrites are 0 and ph is 8.5

    dont have test for that stuff yet i know i have some calcium in my water tho i have been adding "purple up" everyday gonna buy the test tom.

    It is not prudent to add things blindly to our tanks. You sound as if you are a novice, how long have you been in the hobby, specifically, coral/reef? If you accumulate too much calcium you will throw the tanks chemistry off and you will end up with a real mess. Do not supplement until you know all your parameters.
