new tank build

I am going to be coming up with designs for my new 40 gallon tank, first off I want the fish to be rare, so I was thinking a yellow fuzzy dwarf lionfish would be perfect with an angler fish of some sort, can this be done? I would also do it as a reef tank too, so I want to have an awesome Skimmer, what is the best skimmer for a 40 gallon in your guys opinion? Also would having 5watts per gallon be to much for each of the fish or should I go lower, and if so how low to make sure I can do SPS.

I would think that the fish would be fine , just keep on mind that with those fish all small reef fish are completely out of the question. I am also in the process of a 40 gallon build, its the breeder. The lighting should be ok as well, I'm using a fishneedit 150w MH with 2x39w t5 HO on both sides of the MH. what are you using for flow ? I decided to go with a quiet one 3000 return with an MP20. I'm doing a peninsula type setup viewable form 3 sides. Well good luck and i will follow along.

good luck finding a yellow dwarf lionfish. and when you do find it, tell me how shelling out 400 bucks for it is. there not just rare, there RARE. only come from the red sea i think. thats just what i remimber from a book i read.

do either a warty skinned angler or a sargassum, they are my favorites.

 

I have my ways to get a hold of a yellow fuzzy dwarf lionfish And sargassum was the one I was thinking about, what skimmer would work best with this amount of bioload?
