I am currently finishing my basement and have plans to build a tank into a "nook" in the wall. It is pretty narrow 15.5 inches. I was going to try and get a custom tank built but the dimensions are odd and it would likely cost me more than I am willing to spend.

I went out to the garage and measured a tank I have had sitting out there unused. The dimensions.. 48 x 13 deep x 20 high.. my goal with this tank is to keep it simple.. it will be a FOWLR tank and I will be keeping hardy, small fishes..

I desperately need to get my own digital camera so I can properly document the build as I go.. till then I will have to borrow ;D

Here is an expertly drawn diagram of what I will be doing.. yes.. it is expertly done..

LoL I love the elementary-school-kid-esque fish drawn into the tank. Awesome.
