    Boy aint that the truth!!!!!!

I made a Wet/Dry Sump out of a 100qt Coleman Cooler, the internal Bio-Ball Box for it out of a plastic clothes tub, that's drilled near the bottom and the lid's inverted to form the drip tray. The flow from the Aquarium goes into the cooler through the lid directly over the sponge pads in the lid of the Bio-Ball box. The outflow goes out near the top on one side plumbed with PVC and Ball Valves on both sides so it's very serviceable:)
I came here after doing a Webcrawler Search looking for DIY Overflow and after some initial setbacks(because I used too small of Pipe size) it's working great. It added aprox. another 20g of water to the total amount. I can keep the heaters out of the tank itself. I also have room for LR in there as well8)
It's getting closer to becoming a FOWLR tank with each passing day as I gather the right gear to make it as successful as possible from the start...but like you I'm keeping my options open so it can go Reef when the money is there to make it happen;)
