Good luck. I have had my nano-12 gallon up and running for about 3 years. Just remember its a small tank so if something goes wrong its going to affect the whole tank unlike a bigger tank where you could have some time to take care of it and isolate. For ex. I had an anemone(that I believe to be bad stock) but it died it killed everything in my tank within one night-fish-crabs-shrimp. And be carefully with your heaters I had trouble with mine putting out to much heat and the nano gets hot very quickly because its such a small space. But I wish you luck!! Once its up and running there awesome I love mine.

I have a jager 75watt heater that has had it locked in since saturday it has barley varied(not even .5 degrees) also I am stoked tonight as I see some algea growing which means its cycling like it should be, upgraded to the maxi-jet900 which is over double the flow rate of the stock pump, calcium is at 480, PH is 8.4, alkalinity is at 300, nitrites are 0, nitrates are 20 and the amonia is at 0...it has been cycling since saturday, if all is still good by this weekend I may add one cheap chromis or one of the less agressive damsels to aid the cycling...seems like alot of people here put a fish in while its cycling, so, if thats a totally bad idea let me know, I am new at this reef thing so I only have what others have done to go on

I had a 24G Aquapod for a while. It was great. Although I took the hood off and got the Current USA SunPod 1X150W MH w/ 12 lunar lights and an Aqua C remora skimmer. I ditched the bioballs, just used a large micro filter pad and some chemi pure elite.
