New Tank Questions

Hello all...well i think i have decided i can get a better deal in no going with the packaged deal i was offered...the problem was that the glass tanks were cracking so they needed to go with acrylic and that well...i dont like acrylic much but also the price jumped like $250...so im thinking of going with a small 25-30gal cube tank with a mh pendent...with the pendent i can hang it high away from the tank hopefully makeing a chiller not needed...if anyone has any suggestions tell me

 

You know, I've had my 75G for a couple of years now and have had 2X250W MH about 5 inches from the water. With well placed fans. 1 pointing at the sump and one in the window behind the tank blowing out. I've not had a problem with heat.
I did how ever when I didn't have the fan in the window.
I don't think chillers are nessesary
BTW last week it was 100.4 F outside

so the tank is in front of a window with the fan blowing air outside or inside?

 

Well actually I have a 2 in 1 fan unit the top blown into the house and the bottom one blows outside.

ah thats a good idea...i have a wall ac in how but...i think its causing to much evaporation so...im deciding what 2 do lol
