hi everyone. im thinking of getting a new tank set up and maturing. trouble is im still in a bit of a quandry!!!! what size would you ppl suggest is best(please no sexual jokes!!lol). i have been informed that size is not always better(please stop there). at present i have a 35x15x20 inch tank. i was dissappointed as when i picked up tank(ebay) it had sliding glass and ledges which wastes 6 inches from the top. i also want a tank with a stand to match but they all appear to be f/w.. does anyone know any links to a build your own tank stand etc or maybe a good website i could get it all from. im based in the sunny(not)uk. se. many thanks all once i know where im going i shall update regularly to let you all know what im doing etc!!!!!any help/advice very appreciated;D;D

as far as salt tanks go i believe everyone will say bigger is better because the larger the tank is the more stable it will be as far as all the perameters, hopes this helps, there will be much more advanced reefes chiming in soon....

Yep, get ready to spend! Over 90gal, skimmer, sump, live rock, sand, all the bell and whistles- you might be able to buy a nice car with the money you'll have invested. And that doesn't include the livestock to make it pretty...

I must say my motto was always go big or go home. Of course this was with moto cross but much like that bigger is better with tank size. You have more stable water with the larger tank size. There is more room for the things you want to keep and gives more swimming room for fish. Down fall is that you need to go big on the bills to from equpment to the electric bill. Either way its a great hobby.
