    40g breeder- 20lbs base rock, 10lbs live rock, 1 algae eating cowrie, 5 astrea snails, one mexican turbo, rescue brain coral free from LFS, 2 peppermint shrimp (aiptasia killers), 30lbs dry argonite sand, 3 cups of LFS sand out of 16yr old display, more to come..... Any suggestions on future inhabitants?

    Sorry i havent even started aquascaping yet im waiting on more base rock.

    What kind of ideas do you have lingering for future inhabitants? Peaceful, semi-aggressive or, aggressive?

    Mostly peaceful.....When do you think would be a good time to start adding fish, my params have been fairly stable with nitrite 0, nitrate 0, ammonia 0, Alk 11 dkh, calcium 460 ppm, SG 1.025, PH 8.2, temp 78 degrees.

    How old is the tank to begin with.

    2 months and a week old, already getting coraline on glass

    Imo wait until you get more rock in the tank. You don't want to stress out the fish by screwing with the aquascape to much.

    Oh yea i was defintaly going to wait until the aquascaping was done and all my clean up crew are added, I was just hoping to add a fish or 2 within the next couple of months. If theres anything ive learned since ive been in this hobby its nothing good ever happens to those who are impatient. So...as far as the clean up crew goes what would be suitable in a 40g (36x18x16)?

    The easiest way to get your cuc is to look on the sponsers page at reef cleaners. They will tell you excatly what you need.
