    i'm getting a 58 gallon oceanic reef ready tank in about 3 weeks. i want to get a NOVA Extreme T-5 fixture with lunar lights(= 156 watts) and a corallife super skimmer. anybody have any comments on this equipment? just want to know. i want to do it right this time

    I have heard the super skimmer can be difficult to clean. And for the first month or so virtually impossible to stop the micro bubbles in the tank. Get the bubble trap add on and you should have less problem

    any comments on a better protein skimmer for about the same price as the super skimmer? (150$)

    you might wanna invest in a good skimmer like the aquac remora, worth the investment IMO ;-]
