    I just set up my new tank today. I have a tob skimmer. I am trying to run it but no bubbles are going into the collection cup. Is it because the tank is to new or what? the chamber has tiny bubbles but not making their way cup the shaft!

    I have 20lb of live rock and 40lb of live sand

    Protein skimmers have a break in period. Give it some time!

    agree totally..... let it breakin Plus being a new tank there really isnt anything to skim.
