Wait, do you actually own that fixture?? That has got to be the coolest light I have seen yet! T5's could pull it off for sure, what you are planning to keep is the real question though.

Any chance you have a picture of that fixture facing the camera? I can't figure out where the halides/LED's go...

the same stock that was in my 90 gallon minus a few fish here and there. The timing just worked out that rogers tanks blew a seam and i was moving to a new house. So all my livestock is at his house now. I broke down my 90 and he is setting it up at his place and holding my fish and coral till i am back up and running with the new tank in the new house :)
So mainly SPS and a few select LPS and softies. For fish i have my red sea regal angel, black leopard wrasse, and bluestar leopard wrasse.

you are right! you dont wanna know what it goes for haha!! you can buy the metal halide pendents separate. the thing that houses the LEDs is actually sold as a separate piece which is just a bracket used to connect the metal halide pendents. So that fixture in the pic is actually sold as three separate lights. The pendants are call Elos E-Powers and the bracket with the LEDs is called the manta (in case you wanna try to look them up) Anyway the E-powers (MH pendants) actually have higher PAR values than the lumenarcs! so they are pretty powerful if i do say so myself!

the bracket come in two lengths as well and with or without the LEDs. And the MH's come in 250watts or 150watt HQI's and ypu can buy them with or without ballasts. which is pretty cool cause if you are already running MHs and wanna upgrade to these reflectors you wont have to buy it with new ballasts. You can just use any HQI ballast you already have (assuming you are matching the reflectors to the same wattage HQI ballast you want to use of coarse)

:eek: I don't even have words right now.... just the anodized aluminum reflector is pricey. But for the money that is one hell of a fixture!
