    my tank has been running for a week all tests came out good i have 30
    pounds of live rock fluval filter maxi jet power head home depot sand.my water is crystl clear any ideas on what to do next would be great :confused: my lfs say wait anther week till i add any fish .my tank is 36 gallon bow tank any help would be great .thanks also was wondering can put live rock into canister filter:-/

    How is this a problem? Using play sand is perfectly fine.

    what is the problem with the sand ive read that many many us it i live in maine live sand prices real high

    Okay, Pics WOULD BE AMAZING!!!! lol... K+ because your starting a tank. But just to really get you good and started.... Please Please listen to everyone on here lol... i kinda rushed things and wished I didnt. Playsand has worked well for many people. Most people's problems with theres is they dont like how it looks but i think its fine. Some people has said this is easier for eels and some blennies like doing that. Pics would be amazing. first off, you really need to get a test kit at least for nitrates nitrites and ph. This will let you know when your cycle has peaked and fell to its little comfortable ecosystem... Would definatley advise maybe 2 or 3 blue green chromis in about a week. then a 10 to 14 days later add another fish or 2 and do not multi buy. Take your time and do it right.
