Hi, new to the hobby here and have been researching for a little over a year. I just set up my 65 gallon tank over a month ago and finished my cycle. My goal with this tank is to have a fowlr but also have some soft corals in the future. So far I have 40 pounds live sand, 60 pounds of dry rock and about 8 pounds of live rock. Just here looking for some advice and to learn more about this hobby.

Welcome..!! Advise = Patience, read, read, ask questions. It's a never ending learning process. And my favorite - don't give up when you make a mistake, because trust me - you will make a mistake.

    Welcome aboard!

You researched a lot it sounds like- nice job. I didn't do enough, but with this board/site, things are going well for me.

We'd like to see some pics, even if it's only a cycling tank! We like pics!

I like it. Lots of good places to place corals (when you finally get the urge). Keep us updated with pictures when you start adding fishies.
