Thanks buddy. What is XD? I'm sure your tank is just as awesome. Send me pics. I am looking forward to changing the entire live rock design in my tank as I purchased 120lbs of dry reef saver rock from BRS so we can help keep the reefs alive.

I am in the process of seeding all of the rock. I still have 3-5 weeks until my tank stand is built, stained and ready for setup. I want everything to have a smooth transition.

ok awesome and XD is a face if you look at it at an angle. It's basically just me kind of laughing at the irony since you ask for help but I need yours more lol. and for my tank pics my tank is going through lots of renovation, like my signature says. It'll be back up in about a week, and I'll be sure to send you pics! Good luck!

definitely send the pics when you r up and done renovating. for sure
Ill keep posts coming with pics as progress continues. Just got a fish recipe from several people on what to feed my tank. I will let you know how it goes as I want the fish to have the best food possible for growth and color enhancement.

One simple food out there is New Life Spectrum pellets. Great reviews on it.

Were you aware that all those trigger fish are not reef safe? They might nip at your corals which could ultimately lead to thier demise (death).

Your tank is beautiful though...Geat work and welcome to 3reef! Glad to have you aboard

Yes I am totally aware the three triggerfish are not reef friendly. I have done quite a bit of research on all the fish I buy. I am doing it much smarter this time around.

Several items addressing your post. Many of the corals I am getting are soft corals which are typically safe around triggers. None of the my triggers nip or do anything towards any of the softies in the tank. The only one I would be concerned with the frogspawn until they get bigger to fully cover the hard coral base they have. Luckily they haven't messed with those either.

I do not plan on getting any other hard coral as much as I would like items like clams or other nice corals.

One last thing, I have been lucky and have met very friendly people here in town that have given me many of the pieces to try in my tank. I can't wait to frag forward to them once able. I am just waiting for the toadstool to get a little bigger and the zoas to grow and I will definitely try then.

Trust me I do not like the way some people buy expensive fish or even inexpensive fish and think it is so easy to take care of them and then end up with a dead tank.

I take very good care of the quality of the tank as you can see in the pictures both water and food.

Thanks for the post. hopefully I can ask you questions if anything or something arises.

Oh forgot the clean up crew

I have been very fortunate with my clean crew of 2 large hermit crabs, 24 red legged crabs, 2 snails and 1 green serpent star. None of the triggers have eaten any of them. One large reason is most of them hide during the day and clean up at night. The 2 large hermits clean during the day. I am aware as the triggers get 6-10 inches they will eventually figure out how to get to the crabs if not crack the shells. All part of the ecosystem.

I guess like some people feeding their lionfish goldfish and other live small fish or feeding fish live brine shrimp.

We all want beautiful tanks and thrive to achieve this.
