New to 3reef and 1st Reef Build

    Hello,

    Great to be here. LONG TIME fresh water guy with all the bells and whistles of CO2 injection with automated PH balanced, under gravel heaters, VHO lighting etc..GREAT plant tank for a long time but could not keep up any longer with the immense trimmings, 50% water changed every week.

    I THINK I scaled down a bit and just set up a Redsea MAX 250 65 gal. system with a 1/4hp Oceanic Chiller. Put in 65lbs of live Kupang Island Rock and BIO Catalina Salt Water along with live sand. A few Cromis added for the break-in period. Other live Corels to come much later when the tank stabilizes. Water changes will consist 10 gal every other week with top offs of fresh RO as needed for evaps. Will post some pics of the new tank in a few.
