Hello Everyone, first off it was suggested that I said hello, so there ya go hello lol. As you can tell, I can be a very sarcastic person, but when it comes to my aquariums I am all business. I do not appricaite wrongful answers, nor I do appriciate someone that "thinks" they know but doesn't have a clue. I also have to agree with the world that everyone has their own opinion, in fact, a lot of times I have my own. But the one thing that you will find is I will never give you my opinion without looking it up on the web or asking someone that does know. I don't like false answers, that get's no one any place.

I try my best to be a friendly person, I really do. But some people say that I come off as a harsh witch. Putting it mildly due to the rules, ;) lol.

Anyways, I know I have a strange name, but I honestly couldn't think of anything but that. I have had several aquariums in my life, some of them have failed, some of them have blossomed so well that I cried for 3 days when I had to get rid of it due to leaving a country. 99% of my aquariums have been freshwater. In fact, this is my first saltwater aquarium, and lord knows if I had the room, I would have about 100 more of them. Freshwater and saltwater. I think they are a beautiful thing to have in your house and I honestly think that they are very relaxing. Even when you do get frustrated with cleaning them in a way it's still rather relaxing.

As of right now I have a 29 gallon freshwater aquarium that I am working on. It is taking some time to get up to where I want it because of stupid people doing stupid things (like turning off my lights when they should be on lol) and I also have a 75 gallon saltwater tank that is well, still rather a work in procress if you ask me. We had it set up really nice for a about a year, in fact it still is nice. But we decided that of just having these lovely fish swimming around that we are going to change it up a bit, lol. I guess the biggest reason that we did the whole fish only tank is because well, we didn't have a lot of money, so each year (around this time) we add more and more "required" stuff to our tank. So we are at that point right now that we it's time for a change from fish only, to fish and corals. :)

I will tell you a little about my 29 gallon tank. It sits on a bar between my kitchen and my dining room. (don't picture to big, we live in a small place lol). I have 2 kissing gourami in it, 2 black tetra and 2 black phantom tetra's. I also have 1 sucker (can't spell the actual name to it lol) and one silver spotted cat fish. Of coarse that's about the only fish we will have it in considering that the grouami will get rather large. Secretly I hope they get large enough to eat the tetra (they aren't one of my favorite fish lol). I also have a bamboo plant in it, and I also have some green "crazing" grass in it. It's a really pretty tank, but I really do need other plants in it and a better lighting system to it (which i'm hoping to get in the next week or so).

Now onto my saltwater tank. This is where I couldn't tell you the rock from the algae, because honestly, about the only thing I do with it is watch my husband clean it, test it for the correct peremters of chemicals and go through fish stores going "OHHH I WANT! OHHH I WANT" lol And of coarse I usually get told no lol. Well sometimes. Anyways, i'm getting off my subject, sorry. I have a 79 gallon aqarlic (wish it was glass lol) tank. It has several lbs of live rock in it that have A LOT of tiny little red feather dusters (which I adore). I have a hawiian feather duster. I have 2 false clowns, 2 ocean raised clowns, 2 skunk clowns. I also have an LTA that the all the clowns can't seem to make up their minds who's in charge of lol. I have several blue legged hermit crabs (last counted 10). I have several bubble bee snails (last counted 8). I have a fighting Cronch; a sgt major; 2 little damsels, and a new addition of a flame red scallop (just got him today). I don't think I have much of anything else in there. In fact, the two false clowns will be leaving us soon I just haven't figured out how to do it yet.

The only things that we are missing out of our tank is some regular turbo snails to help with the algae. And of coarse we have the beautiful purple algae that everyone seems to want. I dunno why, I think it's a touch boring, I am not the type of likeing one color lol. We also have the very brilliant green algae that grows that the fish LOVE to nibble on during the day. It's rather an interesting site to watch. I am pretty sure that's all that we have in our tank. Of coarse we have a couple other things in our tank but I will post that in another part of the forum.

Depending on the response of the people in this forum, my husband may join me here as well, for we both have our things. I have the freshwater, he has the saltwater, so he of coarse would know more about the saltwater than myself.

Well I hope that my hello was a good one, because honestly I wasn't sure what to write and here I've gone and wrote a book lol. I seem to be good at that at times and well, if you ever need me to shut up, just say so. (Nicely of coarse ;) ) lol Well i hope to get to know some of you and I hope that we can all help each other out.

I'd be careful with that. If there is one thing I am good at it's typing on the computer. You can ask any of my family members, I seem to like to type A LOT! LOL Maybe one day I will write chapter 2 lol. Thank you for the warm welcome.
