NEW to 3reef

Hi all just joined up to 3reef and feel a little confused how to work it but will give it a go! I have had my fish tank for about 2 years now and seem to have just settled down one thing after the next. Currently have a large mushroom coral, anemone, 2 clown fish, 1 percula clown fish, sand sifting star fish, damsel, brittle star fish.

I have had my anemone for a few months now and it has started shrinking.... anyone know whats wrong with it..... i will attempt to attach a picture! ;D nope wont let me do it!

Originally the anemone's tenticlles where out and now they have shrunk back into the anemone! Bit worried about it has been like that for about a month now! Can anyone help!?

Hi, Welcome to 3reef.. Just some advise, I would be careful of that anemone.. if it looks like its about to die, take it out quick. it will kill your entire tank.. getting a new $10 anemone is much better than having to start all over.. You will probably hear more of this.. good luck

 

hiya thanks for your quick reply... have managed to upload a picture onto my albums on my profile so you can have a look. dont want to have to take it out... its still feeding. I dont live in america and they not tht cheap here! wish they were!
