    Still new to the saltwater world i recieved my tank and stand today but another person said to use a dual reactor instead of a hob filter if i get a dual reactor how would i go about installing it and knowing how it works p.s. is it mechanical or chemical filtration or both.

    Most people will use carbon in one chamber and GFO in the other (Granular ferric oxide). This will help the water quality. Unfortunately HOB filters are not as useful in the saltwater world.

    Bulk Reef Supply has good information on how much of each to use.
