Hi everyone, lately i started to look at saltwater fish decided to start on building one. I did not it will cost that much to build one until i read more after i get my fish tank. Since i already have a fish tank, i will keep going! : )

I currently picked a 29 gallon Marinland Tank. It has been about 3 days, and my mised water is pretty much almost clear with sand added in already. Water The problem i am having right now is setting the correct temperature. I had the very generic one that came with the tank which only shows High and Low, so i went to get a Jager. I had it for 1 day, and it seems hard to operate since it has 2 dial. I am going to bring it back to the store tonight to exchange for a simple one with numbers on it.

When i first fill up the tank, the temp was at 72, and yesterday it was 80. As of today, I already taken the heater out to see if the temp. will goes down. It is about 78 right now without the heater.

Here is a pic of my tank:

I also ordered some Live Rocks (primo deco and ultra Fuji) from liverocknreef, and they should be here tomorrow. I will post some photos of the rocks tomorrow!

On friday, my other equipement(Skimmer, Test Kit, Powerhead) should be here too.

I just read on a post that "Never rinse your filter media with regular tap water if it becomes clogged. The chlorine in the tap water will kill your benificial bacteria instantly and you will have to start all over.r", so should i go get a new filter before i put the live rocks tomorrow?

I will shoot a video when the tank gets clear.
