I have been reading on the forum about LED's and there is so much great information here that I can't decide what to do. I am setting up a new 180g tank that will hopefully be here late next week but I held off on getting any lights for it until I could figure out what I should get. I know for sure I want LED's but I didn't know how many led's I would need for a 180g tank. I was looking at the 250w panels but they are kind of pricey at 499.00ea and I think it would take 4 of them to light a 180g tank but I'm not sure. I have no problem building my own led fixture but I can't figure out how many individual lights it would take to light something this big. If anyone has any information or ideas that they could share it would be greatly appreciated. My tank is 72"x24"x24" and I plan on having mostly corrals in this tank, SPS and LPS.
