    Hi Guys,

    Thanks for the replies...

I have been referred to the either the Reef Octopus Super Reef 3000 Internal Skimmer or the Reef Octopus Super Reef 6000 External Skimmer. I think the Reef 6000 will be more adequate though.

By the way, would i need Media reactors ?

    Cheers

I was also thinking about this. You have 3' of depth to get through and the 150's, although they will give u good coverage of the whole length of the tank, it will have problems to reach corals lower in the tank.

I'm sure Dingo can shed tons more of light (no pun intended) on this subject.

    Hi Magnus,

Thanks for the info... I already have the light setup for the aquarium. But am also looking into LEDS right now and if i can find any good one, then i might give away the current light setup to a friend who is currently building his reef aquarium here which is around 20" high...

Any good LED systems around ?

    Cheers
    Kamal

I'm looking into LED's myself and trying to learn about it.

rapidled.com has good kits up for sale. Check them out, but I suggest you check the lighting subforum here on 3reef for people with good knowledge on the subject. I wish I could help more but I'm tangled myself with this one. I was told by many that a 48 premium cree led kit would work for my 55 (4ft long and 2feet deep) and I'm just thinking about building a canopy for it, the only thing I didn't like was that the "programming" needs to be done by adding a 50 dollar module per strip or something.... I know I'll need more than one.

Sorry, again, I can't help much with LED'S since I haven't researched as much as I should have yet. Sorry.
