Well, I bought 40 gal of salt water for the tank. I'm picking it up at 1 PM tomorrow and I can't wait. It's been 10 years since my last tank and I really missed having one.

    Pictures of the tank.

It's been an experience buying a used tank and going through the trials and tribulations not to mention the hard labor! Whew! Well, it has a long way to go but you gotta start somewhere so here is pictures of my 65 gal peninsula tank (36x18x24) I have to say the black is growing on me.8)
This is my first time uploading pictures I hope it works!

Pride is what it's all about. If not for that a lot of us would not be in this hobby. When you can successfully put together a fine reef tank you can truly hold your head up high. For so many years it was unthinkable to do. I may have too many fish for this tank and I will gladly accept any criticism or comments about my choices. They are as follows:
    The Fish
1 Lemonpeel Angel at 2" it's the largest fish in the tank
1 Royal Gramma who was helped tremendously by the Cleaner Shrimp from early parasites (ICH)
    2 small Percula Clowns-very hardy
1 Diamond Goby-he's a piece of work and sifts all the sand
1 baby Yellow Watchman-he's a trip to watch
    1 tiny Blue Regal Tang
    1 Fairy Wrasse
5 Green/Blue Chromis - they activate the tank in a school
    The Inverts
    2 Emerald Crabs
    10 Scarlet Hermit Crabs
    5 Blue Legged Hermit Crabs
    7 Red Stripe Turbo Snails
    2 Cleaner Shrimp
    2 Blood Red Shrimp
    The Corals
    1 Blue Mushroom
    1 Green Mushroom
    1 Gonipora
    1 Purple Cracked Coral
    2 Orange Tree Corals
    1 Yellow Pogoda Cup Coral
    1 Trumpet Coral
So there you have it. I hope it's not too much. My parameters are good and I just did a 10 gal water change on Saturday as part of my bi-weekly water change.

Your tank seems pretty heavily stocked. It's almost been 2 months though, right?

Yes it is I know, which is why I'm moving up to a 120 gal 48" X 24" real soon. Most all of my fish are babies which I prefer as they are easier to adapt to tank life. I wasn't sure I would like a reef tank over a FOWLR so I started smaller. I'm going to be selling my old setup if anyone in the South Florida area is interested. My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy and loves my acrylic 65 gal peninsula reef tank. But, as with many of you I'm addicted now. Recent picture is attached.
