Welcome to 3reef! A 10g "nano" is a very difficult system to run. A great deal of research is in order ;) GL and remember, "go slow, let it grow" - Omard

+1 to Nano, welcome to 3reef, open up some of the threads, read about starting out. LOTS AND LOTS of reading, only way to save money in the long run of things. Sure you can do things on your own and try them out, but youll just end up coming back here for ?'s. ReAD and READ, then come back here with more specified questions, and well see if we can help!

Forgot to mention +1 on Froc, they are harder to maintain, since they require water changes more often, due to the water quality issues. Just do not cheap out on the equipment, cause youll pay for it in the long haul.

Ok, I'll give specifics. Get a good protein skimmer to start. Get either Aqua-C Remora, CPR Bak-Pak2, or Octopus hang on back. Then you want to get good water flow in your tank, so get at least a couple powerheads. I would suggest getting a Koralia 1, or a couple Koralia Nanos. Get decent lighting, maybe an 18" or 24" HO T5 fixture, I would go with a 24" that has at least 2x24W bulbs. Then of course, you will need to get a quality salt mix and RO/DI water to mix it in. I would suggest investing in an RO/DI water system if you plan on keeping the tank healthy, or plan on maintaining this hobby. Besides that, it's also a good source of clean drinking water for you too. :)
