    Hello over there in Tampa!

I'm using ZooMed Ultra Sun Trichromatic Fluorescent Bulbs in a single fixture. I'm hoping that will get me by until I can invest into PC lights.

I finally got around to taking some pics of the tank. Everything seems to coming along ok so far. I've added 2 damsels this past week to hep get the cycling process going. I'm not very good a aquascaping so please pardon my unimaginitive setup ;D

I think everyone said it best already. But the reason why the biowheel filter won't really work is because they are really designed for freshwater tanks. With a FOWLR setup, the bare minimums are a good skimmer and good water circulation. I would get more clean live rock, and make sure you cure and dip then prior to putting them in your tank. You should quarantine LR the same as you would with fish. If you don't add more filtration, i.e. a sump, canister, UV filter, Wet/dry etc, then you will have to be even more religious about your water changes. Your LFS wants you to add livestock because it's almost a guarantee they will die, which means revenue for them. Even though the damsels are cheap, they are still living animals and should be respected. So take everything he says with a grain of salt now, since he is known to say less than truthful things. My LFS are very honest with me and have saved me lots of heartache. Take things SLOW, let the tank cycle for at least a month before stocking the tank and go 1 small fish bi-weekly to start the bioload cycle. Be careful with the light you have, the spectrum of light may cause algae blooms. We all get excited over the new hobby and are ambitious, but we have to remember that mother nature takes time to balance things properly. :)
